Make sure you WAIT for the extra code!
When you set up your HP+ account, you have to have Stapes’ additional code, otherwise you’ll only get 6 free months of instant ink, and very well could have to spend an afternoon on the phone with HP to try to get the rest.
Staples really should put that info in their product description prominently, and towards the top so more customers see it.

Good Printer
Works very well. I had this printer befor and left it behind when I moved. It is a good printer does nice printing in color, I make greeting cards and they look store brought.

Great printer for less!
I found a wireless printer that also copies and scans for under $100! Setup took longer than expected, but I'm very happy with the speed and quality of the copies. It was nice to get it on sale for $74.99.

It doesn’t work
Printer insists on trying to send necessary software to a non-existent email and terminated domain. It can’t function without the software.

Not recommended, just too bad
Very difficult setup specially wireless. No easy way besides needing a cable to do the initial setup. I am a IT guy and still had to struggle for 20plus minutes to have setup completed and the scanning part still does not work. Stay away from this printer

Solid printer. Prints cleanly and smoothly. Great app to support. Connects easily to WiFi. Smooth paper load. Can solve paper jams from bottom of printer.

Great printer, horrible ink policy.
I didn’t realize I have to use HP ink or else the printer wont print.
It is a printer and it does it’s job, it’s my 3rd HP deskjet if that tells you anything.
I will not sign up for the ink plan because I hardly print, and when I wear this printer out I will not buy HP again because of your ink rule.

If you don't mind paper jams, this one's for you
I'm glad I didn't recycle my old printer yet...one more paper jam on this 2855 piece of junk and I'm digging out my old one. I can find no reason that the flat when inserted paper would bend and curl in the paper feed, but it surely does.

Working but can’t connect to wifi
Printer requires 2.4 MHz and we only broadcast our Wi-Fi at 5.0 MHz. Need to go back to Staples tech department for help. Other than that the printers working just fine especially for the low price of $60 but be aware the XL ink refill is also $60.

This printer eats ink and at $50 bucks a crack. My fault for not doing proper research. I thought a cheep small printer for home. Boy was I wrong. Print quality is good though. Small project between taxes and school and I'm out $150n ink. Just bought a laser printer. I'm done.
