Make sure you WAIT for the extra code!
When you set up your HP+ account, you have to have Stapes’ additional code, otherwise you’ll only get 6 free months of instant ink, and very well could have to spend an afternoon on the phone with HP to try to get the rest.
Staples really should put that info in their product description prominently, and towards the top so more customers see it.

Order it online!
The printer is great and a very good bargain…so far, 5 stars. But I gave it only 3 stars because the experience of getting was so dismal…1 star at best. I made the mistake of going to a Staples store first, in which the service was horrendous and ended up ordering it online which is what I should have done in the first place.

Good little machine
This printer was easy to get up a running. I bought it just to save on my “big” printer. This one had a low price point. It’s a bit noisy and slower than a more expensive printer, but it doesn’t the job.

Although it comes with two cartridges, make sure you purchase additional ones, because for some reason when you use the ink that comes with the printer, for me it gave me a strange message saying I can't use the ink replacement once put in and then taken out. Complex connection
The printer is great once you get the Wi-Fi connection. Had to figure out why it would not connect. Finally, discovered I had to install drivers. Also a little confusing where to enter copies when scanning versus when printing and which side up or down.

This is by far the worst HP printer we've ever owned. It constantly disconnects from wi-fi, and it doesn't always finish a print job. Save your money and look elsewhere.

It's HP, of course it won't connect to my pc.
Had to chat with support to set up, even though router was about 4 feet away. Only printed once from pc, which is the same issue I had with my last printer. Very loud and sounds like it's going to fall apart when it prints.

Okay for the price
Very hard to get working- still can’t scan - color is okay but not brilliant. Copied a photo and it was not very clear or colorful.
Perfect size for my small office and was 3/4” wider than my old HP 3&1

Buy a Dell, dont buy this
This printer gave me nothing but problems. I've had it for three days and have spent over 6 hours on troubeshooting. I've called support three times, and each time I had to fix it myself.
