Make sure you WAIT for the extra code!
When you set up your HP+ account, you have to have Stapes’ additional code, otherwise you’ll only get 6 free months of instant ink, and very well could have to spend an afternoon on the phone with HP to try to get the rest.
Staples really should put that info in their product description prominently, and towards the top so more customers see it.

Get what you pay for
The printer is not of high quality for it to be an HP. The ink provided with it did not last very long. I printed 20 pages, and it was gone, and an automatic ink replacement was sent to me. Paper jam was an extreme headache.

Don't waste your money
I purchased this printer for printing and scanning needs and it is the absolute worst printer I have ever owned. It takes multiples tries to feed the paper into the printer and even then the printing often comes out lopsided.

Okay but not great
I was forced to buy a new printer when my old one stopped working because of a new router with faster speeds was installed. I first bought a less expensive model that was horrible to install. I returned that and spent the extra for a tank model. I must admit I like the tanks better than the cartridges.

Great Printing and Scanning
I printed a document, and the text was very clear and readable. My printed color pictures were bright with vivid colors. The scan feature worked very well when I scanned a roster and team photo from a high school sports program.

I should have shopped around. I have to unplug the power cord and replug this printer often to get it to work again. It's like it goes into power saver mode and doesn't know how to come out of it. The print quality is decent and it is nice to have the document feeder. The scan quality isn't great but it works. I like how easy it was to install and is pretty simple to us...

Just all around bad
I would not recommend this printer and HP online support never worked for me. Instead I found phone numbers online that could also easily be a scammer and there is really no way to tell which one you found as both legit and scam support will want to directly access your computer remotely.
