Great for under your monitor.
Had two of the B series and needed one more and got the D version for my work monitor/video streaming. Terrible one piece
HW-S61D This is a one piece all in one. Do not buy it. I wish I had bought a 1 piece. I’d like something with separate woofer and speakers.

Works great w/ Samsung TV- large room/high ceiling
I needed some way to have improved clarity sound from my otherwise awesome Samsung 65 inch Neo QLED TV.

An impressive product for a great price
The connectivity of this product is seamless, fast and easy. The clarity is impeccable and the best one I've owned so far. It was easy to integrate into my existing devices and set an amazing soundstage for all of my listening platforms.

Great Value and Sound
The surround sound has great clarity and gives you the immersion feeling of being on a soundstage. Integration with existing devices was fairly simple, but I do have connectivity issues where the sound goes completely blank for a second or two at random time.

Clear and loud sound
For just a soundbar is very clear. Its loud. Feels like your in a movie theater. I do wish I had a little more base. I kind of wish I would have got the one woth the sub. But this sounds amazing. I used the HDMI to connect to my TV.

Great Soundbar
I bought the S series Soundbar for my bedroom and the sound is awesome, easy to connect through the Samsung Smart things app. It sounds almost as good as my Samsung Q990B soundbar. I truly recommend buying Samsung soundbars. I used to have a Bose system and these Samsung soundbars are worth it. Way to go Samsung with these soundbars,, I'm hooked!

Hang on Effy
While for it size really good sound, features are pretty good. My only issue is it loses connectivity with Bluetooth and I have tried every setting to quiet this, but if I change a channel or my input, the sound just blast you out of the room it’s so loud and then I guess the adaptive part takes over and then it goes quieter, but HANG ON EFFY!. There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device.
Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off.

Needs instructions
This sound bar has many problems first of all you need to include instructions with it So it will work at all. It is hard to use And the one piece is not a good way to go

Poor clarity of sound
Sound is not crisp & clear as I expected, regardless of which option I chose. Also, my Samsung TV account is no longer active. Unclear why that is so, I used to be able to further adjust sound with my TV remote. Please advise asap. Thank you.

If your soundbar is connected to your TV with either an optical cable or HDMI via ARC, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV.
2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
Other manufacturer’s remotes may have to be enabled on your soundbar. First, turn Off the Soundbar. Once powered off, push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “OFF-TV REMOTE” (Default mode), “SAMSUNG-TV REMOTE”, “ALL-TV REMOTE”. Please also make sure your speaker settings on the TV are set to External Speaker.

Save your money
This is not a useful product. It doesn’t sound any better than the TV speakers and the QSymphony sync is so unreliable that I don’t even try to use it. I’d never recommend one

Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update by using the SmartThings app.
If not connected to the internet, you can download it onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar - no wireless connection required. Connect the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.
1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner.
2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model
2. Download the firmware file (USB type).
3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name.
4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar.
5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes.
- During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB.
- If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it.
- When the latest version is installed, no update is performed.
- Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported.
6. After the 3 cycles are complete, the Soundbar will restart and last source used will appear on the display for about 20 seconds and then it will go off (“UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON”) 3 times “D.IN” > off
