Strong but not nuanced
The name of this coffee is fairly accurate. It is fairly intense, but without much sophistication. Most dark roast coffees have a varying flavor profile; this one is just "black coffee". Imagine Denny's coffee but with some intensity. I don't think I would buy again, there are better tasting offerings available.

Solid Italian Roast
Wife ranks this with her favorites. It’s basically an Italian roast as I understand roast levels, so is a notch above what I prefer for drinking black, but has a good strong flavor that sustains added creamers which is what matters to her. I go with the Just Black variety which is a medium dark, and perfect for drinking black. Try them both!
