Leaking Ink Tank
Tried to save money and that was a mistake.
set the printer up, filled the ink tanks, and one tank drained immediately.
Left the machine alone while software was downloading and came back to a desk full of ink.

Buy a certified renew printer. You will not be disappointed.
I originally had a 3850 eco tank printer. The inks did not work properly, especially yellow. I tried to get rid of any air bubbles but that didn’t work. Instead, whatever I printed turned out to be blue. I decided to get a certified renew 3850 printer. The price was very good and I am most pleased with the printer. It works just as good as the original one.

Perfect size, great options and ink supply.
Was worried it was going to be too large for space, but fits perfectly. Nice to know ink supply. Bonus to have copier and scanner also. Replaced older Epson.

Not worth
Doesn’t hold 100 sheets in the feeder, paper gets stuck , the quality of the printing is mediocre unable to print landscape . Not very efficient.

Everything I need
I’ve printed about 250 sheets so far: both black and color, and have been very satisfied with the print speed, print quality, noise level, stingy ink usage, ease of filling ink tanks, and the ability to print from iPhone and Android. Connected directly via USB to Mac mini. Easy setup. No paper misfeeds yet. No discernible drop in ink levels yet.

DO NOT BUY - Wifi will disconnect every day
DO NOT BUY. The Wi‑Fi drops every day—sometimes every hour. I’ve rebooted, reconnected, and tried every fix imaginable. This is the worst printer I’ve owned, and I’m tempted to toss it out the window.

Poor Quality Refurb
ADF constantly jams, touch screen doesn't work and printing is streaky but I can't do maintenance because touch screen won't work. Expensive paper weight

Good purchase
Printer is like new & works well so far. It was easy to set up & works flawlessly with computers & phones. I like the ink reservoirs. Seems much better than cartridges. Haven’t used the scanner yet. Guess I should verify everything works while it’s still new.

It would be great love the tank but mine has never worked
Will not print in color and I have tried to get it fixed but no one will look at it.

Short Lifespan
I bought this printer early in 2024. The set up was a bit of a pain, but once I finally got it synced with my phone and laptop it was fairly easy to use. For the first 3 months or so it worked perfectly fine printing in B&W as well as color. Later in that year I assumed the color tanks needed to be refilled since it was no longer printing in color. What service?
They didn’t inform me that it was a reconditioned printer causing frustration since it was a Christmas gift. The guy that helped me both times didn’t seem to care tha it was his responsibility.
