Terrible laptop, do not purchase
The trackpad stopped working randomly 30 days afte I bought it but I could restart through powershell. The audio output hardware stopped working 45 days after purchase. It then went into a bootloop a day later. Likely RAM failure. Laughable for a $1000+ device. Extremely unsatisfied and ASUS ought to be ashamed.

wrong laptop for me
The laptop appeared to be a very good model, but very different from the one I was replacing. I am 81 years old and it was too difficult for me to learn. I returned it the next day and instead bought a different laptop that will be easier for me to learn to use.

Great laptop for students and gaming
I bought this laptop on sale so I could game and also do school work. I love it! I love that it has facial recognition, I can game on it and also do school work. I just didn’t like that it was hard to figure out how to turn on the backlit keyboard, but also this is my first laptop with that feature so it was probably just me.

the 4 key and 0 key backlight are not working. other than that laptop is fine, but the display could be a little better. 60hz but i prefer 120.

Very nice laptop
I would have preferred the black color but I tried it and it was a finger print magnet, so I bought this color which does not have any problems with finger prints. This laptop is very quiet and performs quite well. You can do some light/medium gaming with this lunar lake chip. 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD is very good. On paper it looks great but...
I saw this on sale, and with the specs, reviews, and price it seemed like a steal. Unfortunately those and the display are the only pros. The build quality is awful. Maybe my unit was defective, but the trackpad had friction and was just missing inputs. You could try 2 finger scrolling for 5 seconds and nothing--then a delayed input would register.
