I was very disappointed with the performance of this antenna, it looked very promising at first except it didn’t pick up Kttc nbc which was about 30 miles away and was on vhf 10 yet it was really glitchy cutting in and out even though I thought this antenna would have no trouble picking it up. It unfortunately did not. I’d like to return this antenna asap

Great upgrade from Max-V
I upgraded from a Max-V to the 4MAX because I was getting atmospheric dropouts with the Max-V (I'm right on the edge of the range of the Max-V). JUNK AMPLIFIER/BOOSTER
I purchased a 4max back in 2019 at a different house where it is still installed and working great. I just picked up this "newer" version that doesn't have the metal screens behind the black plastic antenna loops. Great reception with Antenna in the house on table
Worked great. YouTube TV dropped my wife's soap channel. So I grabbed a Tablo and this antenna. I didn't want to mount it on the roof, so I stuck it in the guest bedroom on a table pointing toward the TV station. To my surprise, it's working perfectly.

Works great in attic
I installed in the attic and also used a Rocketfish mini drop amplifier, the amp plugs into the wall and boosts the coax signal. I get every channel possibly available in my area, and most transmitters are 26.!iles away. I am highly.satisfies with the performance of this antenna.

I am very happy with the 4MAX.
I ordered this to specifically get one network that was having a dispute with my tv provider. Considering that I put this in the middle of the house and propped it up with a pillow, and there are fir trees in line with the tower, and it was raining, I got a strong signal. I got all the networks and their subs.

Much better than expected.
I had a little hope to get any channels without 30 to 40 ft mast based on estimates from the transmitter locator and the nearest decent transmitters are over 50 miles away. This antenna delivered for me
This antenna delivered for me. I went from a decent antenna getting 100 channels to now getting 121 channels using the 4MAX.
Channels lock in with little to no repositioning necessary for harder to receive channels.
Of course, being in a major metro area definitely helps.

Possible issues with Hi V signal, or something
It's the priciest one you all recommended for my location (22460), but it's not great. Specifically, I can't get in the local (Richmond, VA) NBC station AT ALL, ever. New antenna is worth the replacement of the old
It was easy to put together. The higher the antenna is, the more channels you'll receive. We purchased 2 as we and a family member were having trouble with consistency with the existing channels.
