Office Basics Done Well
Big fan of these pens. Attention to detail is obvious as soon as you take it out of the package with the tip covers to ensure it writes the first time it touches paper.
The ink itself is the same shade and tone as any other major brand, and the tip width is nice. The tail end of pen strokes is finer and avoids sloppy blotches at the end of words.

Buy the Pilot Version
i tried these when the Pilot version was out of stock. Terrible. Will return. Just doesn’t write like a gel pen should - effortlessly.

smooth
This has become my new favorite pen! I loved teh bold point, it gave a very smooth feeling when I was writing. The grip was comfortable and non-slip so I was able to use it for a while without re-gripping. I'm very happy to have replaced all my other, inferrior pens!

Easy to use with a nice grip
I always appreciate a good black pen. These Staples ProGel Retractable black pens are easy to hold and write decently right out of the package. I would definitely consider buying these in the future!

Great general use pen
After testing the Staples ProGel 1.0 pen I am pretty happy with it. When I first started to use the pen the ink would skip, so it didn't write very smooth at first, however that did eventually correct itself. The perfect lefty pen exists
I’m a teacher, so I’m using pens pretty much all day—grading, planning, notes—and the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens have quickly become my absolute favorite. Best Pen Ever
What a great retractable gel pen! It glides over any paper you are writing on without the messy ink blobs you get from other brands. The ink dries almost instantly! The grip is so comfortable, I could write for hours! I would recommend this bold retractable gel pen to everyone!

Finally no smeering

Smooth writing pen
I recently tried the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens, Bold Point, 1.0mm, Black Ink, 5/Pack. I usually stick to name brand pens but this pen surprisingly was great! Great Pen
So this is a pen. It’s just a pen so don’t get too excited. But it’s a really decent pen. It gets the job done. No drying, no having to scribble for awhile to coax the ink flowing. Just a reliable decent pen. It’s the pen you want back when you loan it but not overpriced that you cry when it gets lost. 10/10 pen. Would make this my normal go to.

Great grip and quick dry
Great pens! Comfortable grips are a plus. Quick dry works well but takes a few seconds. Will still smudge if touched immediately. Overall, it's a great product.

Writes smooth and comfortable to hold

Smooth and Bold
These are great pens for everyday use! They are easy to write with, and comfortable to grip. The ink is bold and dark, and I love the thick tip. It’s ideal for coloring in small areas or writing clearly. My children (ages 3 and 6) also really enjoyed using these pens and found them comfortable and satisfying for their art projects. I would definitely recommend these.
