Broken in less than 72 hrs.

Connectivity problems
It took almost a week for it to find its way to a computer it liked. Between a Samsung, iPad, and HP, it finally came up on the HP. We been using HP's for about a decade, but the straw that did it was the cost of the ink cartridges became more than a new printer. Outright license to steal! Love the ink bottles, and the cheaper cost of more ink!

Great Printer!
Bought the printer October 27, 2025. I'm 82 years old and had NO problem installing the Epson printer. Plus connecting it to WiFi, my desktop computer and my cell phone. Instructions were very easy to follow! Makes great copies!

Eco Tank Journey
Set up was fairly easy even though I do not have a wi-fi router. I wanted to use my cheap paper for the set up but the printer will not feed it through, it jammed every time. Bang for your buck
This printer meets all of my requirements. Print is crisp. Colors are bright. The machine is ver quiet and the foot print is not too large. I also like the EcoTanks. The only complaint - the print tray is too small and paper ends up on the floor. After comparing prices and abilities of the printers this is a very good choice. Also easy set up.

Good basic printer
Needed a new printer after Epson Workforce printer died.Print needs had changed and was tired of buying expensive cartridges.This fit the bill. The paper is fed through the back so it looks like and old fax machine. Set up was easier on line on the iPad than on the phone or with the tiny screen on the printer front. Almost perfrct
I love it! I’d give it 5 stars but no one told me there’s an ink pad for extra ink runoff. That you have to replace the part. Only the warranty company asked for the old printer back and sent me a voucher for a new printer. Still cost me a handful on dollars after the exchange was

Epson hits a home run with the EcoTank ET-2980
I have had several HP printers and they are great. I needed to replace one and then also looked at the Epson. I took a risk and am very glad I did. This printer has all the features of my HP but Supertank feature is a difference maker. I really like my printer.

Epson 2980 BAD BAD BAD DON'T GET IT

Display screen
The printer itself meets my needs but the display screen could be larger which would make it easier to read. Also the push switches could be clearer and larger as to their functions.

Great replacement for the ET-2650
We had the ET-2650 for about 6 years. It was great but finally gave out. The ET-2980 seems to be the logical replacement to that. It’s quieter and seems to print more clearly. It’s also nice to have the tank levels showing in the front. If it has the longevity of the old one I’ll be happy.

Wanted to love it
Was excited for lower cost ink and better connectivity. But our main reason for purchasing this particular model was auto duplexing and that function is pretty useless with constant paper jams. Guess we'll keep shopping.

A printer that works
This is my first Epson printer. I’ve been with Hewlett-Packard but I’ve given up.. They have major connectivity issues and when you need your printer you need it. The Epson set up was easy and happily connected to my Wi-Fi and I could use it right away. Thank you Epp.
