The preinstalled 16GB RAM is adequate to run Windows and applications simultaneously without compromising system speed or performance. If there is a high memory utilization, check in the Task Manager if resources-intensive services, processes or applications are running in the background. Additionally, check if Windows update or virus scan is running in the background, these will definitely eat lots of the memory resources. Furthermore, ensure Windows, drivers, applications and BIOS are up to date..
