Less Than Satisfied
Purchased two months ago. Print is much slower than my old HP. It constantly says it's out of paper, but is not. There is no stop to hold the 8 1/2 X 11 paper in place. Doesn't hold the print quality setting that is selected. Wish I hadn't disposed of my old printer

Printer setup
A few days after my new printer was set up, it responded as if it was "learning" how to work especially prinitng pdfs. Now it is working fine, but I will keep a close watch on it.

Challenging
This is a great product, but I'm finding it challenging to learn how to do much more than print. I had to hire an IT tech to install it and help me through a few things that I'll probably. need to go over again.

So far this printer has been terrific. Set up was fairly easy. I just had to help my husband figure out how to get the scan mechanism working. DL’d what was needed and now he’s all set.

Was not able to complete set up due to a printer head issue. After texting for almost 2 hours with HP “bot” who had me trying different things, they finally agreed to send a replacement. The replacement has basically the same but slightly different defect. I sent the original back and am tossing the replacement rather than “chat” online for another 2 hours for another...

Lousy Printer
Worse printer I've ever had. I have never had this bad of an experience with HP. Paper is constantly jammed, uses ink like crazy. I won't recommend, or purchase another one.

HP8130. works fine.
I made the mistake of trying non HP ink on previous old HP printer. It then went into terminal cardiac failure and could not be fixed even after I replaced all the ink with new HP ink. It was cheaper to buy a new machine than take old one to repair location. It was very tricky to get new machine started- one needs software and internet training at MSc level. Don'...

Should work like a toaster
But it doesn't. Often it will not work. Then It needs to be reconnected. Wouldn't scan off the HP Smart program at all. Very disappointed!

I had everything up and running. I had added the printer to the app. I did all the set up steps in the app. It was printing. Then I tried to print a few days later and it didn’t work. Beware of the fine print about ink
Bought this printer but ended up taking it back after reading all of the details regarding the ink "agreement". All I can say is read the fine print about the alleged "free ink for a year". It comes at a future cost.
