READ THIS before buying- major design flaw
I've now gotten 2 of these water bottles. They probably get positive reviews from people who haven't had them very long because the cap eventually breaks so that it can't be closed, exposing the mouthpiece and rendering the bottle virtually unusable. Replacement caps for
I have 4- 20 oz stainless steel water bottles one for each family member and my handle on one of them the rivot has popped out and we have lost it so I don't have a handle anymore to carry it by. I wish you'd sell the lids as a replacement part.

I bought myself this brita to minimize plastic water waste. The bottle functions as intended, so very happy with that. Great concept…weak lid design.
I LOVE this water bottle. I just wish the lid fastener would have lasted longer. I can’t find any replacement parts. Perhaps a redesign of the lid would be a good idea!

Broken lid attachment
The Part of the lid that the (Straw and filter) attach under the lid that secures it broke. Very disappointed because it does not seal and you are left with sucking air instead of water.....

Great bottle but the lid has broken and there is no way to buy a replacement without repurchasing the whole bottle. Not economically or environmentally friendly.

Latch Broke and can’t replace
This bottle is hard to sip, and the latch broke so it’s useless now. I tried finding replacement lid and I can’t find one. They need to make replacement straws and lids instead of just the rubber mouthpieces.

Works great but lid fastener broker
I bought the 20 oz stainless steel bottle and have begun to love relying on it to minimize my impact to the environment while safely enjoying water on the go. Plastic cap appears to be fundamentally flawed
I’ve bought two of these metal water bottles. They were great until both plastic caps broke where they’re supposed to latch onto the lock, so now neither close properly. After that happened to the first bottle, I tried to be extra careful with the second. But the exact same thing happened.

Black Mold in Straw Section Uncleanable
I thought this filtered bottle was a good idea until after 6 monthswe noticed the interior of the lid and straw began growing black mold. Super but mouthpiece molds
Loved it until I noticed horrible mold in the mouthpiece. It was disgusting and I dont know how long I had been drinking from it. Was able to clean it up and soaked it. Its great otherwise for travel. A little heavy but worth it for safe water. Once you get to used to the mouthpeice it works. Please sell replacements for the mouthpiece. Please offer replacement parts!
I love this bottle and use it all the time but over the past 4 years the latch to secure the lid has broken twice. When enquiring about purchasing a replacement lid, Brita customer support sent me a new bottle. This was very nice of them but I'd be fine with buying just the piece I need (and I need again). I don't love accumulating bottles I don't need to replace a lid....

Great product UNTIL the lid clasps breaks
