Epson 3950
I got my Epson 3950 about 3 weeks ago, not a lot of time with this particular model. I previously had the 3750 and I could not get the yellow ink to work after several attempts at cleaning for over a year. I have purchased the newer model with the hopes that all the inks including the yellow continue to work for years to come. So far, it is working great.

Don't buy this printer until reading
I bought this printer a couple weeks ago and nothing but trouble. The printer itself works fine as long as you are willing to reboot it after any period of inactivity that exceeds 10 or 15 minutes. This is not due to the sleep function but wifi connectivity. I followed all trouble shooting advice - re-installed firmware, rebooting my wifi router, and much more. I ha...

Poor Display, no buttons

Tiny display and no real buttons on printer
I love every thing about the printer, and it's small size. But, you have to have excellent eyesight or a magnifying glass to read the display or to see the "buttons" There are no real buttons just the flat surface in the front of the printer with VERY tiny and thin labels that were designed much more for aesthetics (I guess) than to make it easy for the user to quickl...

Really nice printer!
The printer works beautifully and I love the inks tanks. Easy to fill, and with all the printing we do, we're not changing super expensive cartridges every month! Really nice printer. And it was priced reasonably.

Loses it's IP address almost daily. Printer errors every other print job, have to reboot. That's why the in lasts so long, it's never available to print anything. Not to mention how excruciatingly slow it is.

Good printer.
Great printer, except for one big exception. The output tray does not self close. Why on earth they have it so it stays open unless you hit a couple buttons manually is beyond me. Worst case, after X amount of time, it should close automatically.

Received dud unit
Want to give this printer five stars; however, this unit did not work out of the box. Troubleshoot with Epson and "hardware failure" verified. Waiting for a replacement unit. I'm hopeful this was just bad luck. I have bought and enjoyed several Epson printers in the past with no problems at all.

Not a reliable printer...
I bought this printer in April 2025. A few weeks ago it stopped printing black. I went through all the steps to fix it but now joy. Even replaced the maintenance box and cleaned the print head with cleaning solution. To get me by I'm printing in blue until I can do better. I won't buy another Epson. HP rules even though they are more expensive in most cases. However...

Easy to set up but took a while for the printer to load the updated software and drivers. And accept the toner. Over all about an hour…maybe because we were using the internet and not direct connection
