Epson ECO Tank ET-4950
This printer met all my expectations. It was simple to set up, the instructions were bang on. Just using this for home use and the Wi-Fi works perfectly.

It Is Junk. Do not buy
I have an EP-4958. It sucks! Never have I had so many problems and issues. Even the diagnostic tool does not work effectively. For what I saved in ink costs I have used So much more paper and ink I could have purchased a gazillion cartridges.....Install was not easy. Extremely cumbersome and time consuming. Definitely not user-friendly.

Great little printer!
Not fast, but really nice clear detail in the prints. Easy to set up and easy to use. Basic, simple above average printer. Does really nice photos, glossy or matte. We use it to create prints from wifi pictures of artists paintings and the detail and color is fantastic. Excellent! Save so much on ink.
High quality photos. Hundreds of full pages and I still have 70 percent of the starting ink left. Easy to use and I wish I knew about how much I could save on ink years earlier.

Accurate, Fast, Economical, Dependable
I purchased this printer and installed it about 6 months ago. I won't be going back to any other ink jet brand. This was set up wirelessly quickly and it is replete with options to suit what ever you want to print. It is a fast printer, double sided too. This is a great printer but the instructions are not well written. Had to go back to Staples to have them translate for me.

Installation Sucks!
Installation is a nightmare! There are persistent adds for a weekly or annual premium subscription. Printing from your PC requires an entirely separate process and downloading drivers.. I am considering returning the unit!

Errors that wouldn't go away
I tried 3 different printers each one had an error. Two has system errors. One a printing error. I returned them all. i bought an HP.

Wireless does not work
I actually teach networking and I spent a full hour on the phone with Epson tech support and the connection remained intermittent. The only solution they could offer was to move the printer closer to the router even though the printer showed "excellent" signal strength. I regret ignoring all the similar negative reviews talking about wireless problems.

So far so good! Only one minor complaint.
We don't print photos or need super high quality color but basic print quality is great for our basic home needs. I wish the cycling white light on the on/off button could be turned off, our office is a cubby off of our bedroom and i had to tape a piece of paper over it. We've only had it two weeks but so far it's all good, hopefully it will last a long time!
