"Second Unit; But A Great Decision Nonetheless"
This is actually the second unit within a 6 month window (window unit, ha ha). The first one was a LG as well, and it did a great job for about two - three months. Then it stopped cooling suddenly. It was hot in that room. Called LG support and wasn't able to get anyone to look at the unit; however, when calling back was able to reach a tech and the questions began....

Did not last 2 weeks
I bought this 18,000 BTU AC unit about a month ago. I mounted it in the wall (with the help of a neighbor (130lbs)), replacing another 18,000btu unit that lasted 20 years. I lasted 2 weeks and stopped blowing cold air. I called LG for a service call. I had told them I had to leave about 3:30. They got there after 2. They said I had to remove it from the wall, I had diff...

Doesn't work
I bought this July 5, 2024 - it stopped cooling around August 8, 2024. Went through you CS line to get it fixed or repaired and it still has not been completed. I have waisted 2 days of work waiting on the service company and nothing has been done.

Confused on filter.
Our contractor purchased the product for our attic while it was being remodeling into a bedroom. It continually shows a red light for the filter to be cleaned. Is this normal? We have only used the cooling no heat used in August.

Great choice!
We bought this unit to replace the one we had that had just quit working. As the temperatures were in triple digits we needed one quickly. This is the updated version of the one we had, so we opted to buy it. We feel that this was a wise choice. It works like a champ.

Poor product
It broke in less than 30 days. And I was led on in the warranty and it wasn’t fixed

Cooling down
Highly recommended. Using less electricity than my fridgedaire 18,000 BTU unit. Recommend a platform type installation for safety in window mounting. The only draw back it is alittle noisy when compressor is running.

Love my LG....
I love my LG 18000 But Air Conditioner. I works really well, loving the Wifi part of it where I can turn the ac on before I get home from a hard days work. or just even scheduling a time to come on or shut off. Thank LG for creating a wonderful unit.

I love how it can be used for cooling and heating.
I have had my air conditioner for 2 weeks and I am thrilled with it. I love the remote control and the ease of using it. I would definitely buy this same one in the future.
