Purchased this unit and a WAC8003WCO a little over a year ago. Purchased this brand because they were supposed to be quiet. The 8000 BTU unit definitely has been BUT the 12000 BTU unit this season sounds like the fan bearing is shot as it make a hell of a racket at any fan speed. Cust. Svs., Sales, Returns all most professional. Will shop here again if needed.
I am most impressed with these people. My Cr. Card made an error and these people accepted the dup. shipment w/o no problems. The sales rep was most informed, shipping was easily accomplished. I ordered 3 units and am very very pleased with them. Single problem? I cannot figure out the remotes but that's a minor issue. Px is right!

Koldfront WAC8003WCO 8,000BTU
Did plenty of research before buying an air conditioner. This is made in the USA, reviews were very good, and a compact design. Very happy with this purchase. Bought another one after I tried out and used the first one.

Excellent air conditioner
The Koldfront air conditioner is powerful and cools my whole downstairs. I liked it so much I bought another one for my daughters large apartment.

Happy with this purchase
The air conditioner arrived quickly and was easy to install. Looks nice and seems quiet - big test coming this week when we are expecting several days of 87 degrees plus.

Koldfront 8000 BYU Window Air Conditioner
Wonderful unit, does exactly as it is suppose to and more. Cool and worth every penny. Really. Easy to install and operate. Good design and controls are easy to follow. Keeps our bedroom nice and cool all the time. Received all the help I needed to decide on this buy.

So far it has been good
I bought this ac last year just before summer. So far I used only for few hours in the total of summer. I liked it’s cooling and it helped me in summer in San Diego coastal area. I hope it will continue to serve me.

Excellent AC for the money
Ordered this window A/C because it is relatively compact compared to others in this BTU range. It fit in our space and cools the entire first floor of our house. Energy efficient and all features work as advertised.
