Bad quality photo printing and finicky controls
This printer is not only a pain to use with the functions (you have to even hit an extra button to turn it off!), but the photo print quality is HORRENDOUS. I have fiddled with many settings to try and get decent color on a photo print but it continues to print bad quality photos - skin yellowish, colors muted, I’ve never had a printer that is so bad.

Ink nozzles need frequent cleaning in dry climate
This has been a pretty good printer for my needs. I don't print stuff everyday, but only occasionally. I live in southern Colorado where the climate is pretty dry. The printer works fine after I clean it. But then after a few weeks, its ink nozzles get dried up and clog. This results in documents that are striped with spotty white lines. WANT TO SAVE MONEY??
This printer is not quite as fast as the one I used before, but the amount of money I am saving more than makes up for that! The print quality is excellent and I highly recommend it for home or office.

wont buy again
as soon as updated the machine just stopped printing. the help on line from brother was no help. replaced with a different printer.

Didn't work and then it did.
It took most of one evening to establish a connection between the printer and the computer. The directions for setting up and getting the printer to function needs to be more user friendly. Once the connection was made, the printer work great.

Brother rates a Bminus rating
It works BUT it will not print photos from the iPhone. It discount photos from computer. Brother service was not helpful!

PRINT? Maybe if you are lucky
I’ve had this printer for maybe 5 years. It prints when it wants to. NOT RELIABLE. I just replaced the ink. It does not print at all. Put your money in a much better printer.

Need to change the layout of the printer
The printer does its thing but here are af ew improvements that would improve the product immensly.
1) have a backlight on the pad so I don't need to use a flashlight to read it.
2) Change the layout of the pad so that a thing like PRINT is larger than the rest of the pad so I don't have to inspect the pad like inspector cousseau.

Brother MFC J4335DW
I needed a printer that would be reliable and able to print with AirPrint. I don’t do a lot of printing and I don’t print photos. It’s a simple but capable printer and does a good job. It’s easy to set up and use. I can print from my phone and laptop.
I can also use the cable it came with so I could print from my PC.

Within 6 months of purchase I began to jam regular
Thought I got a small home copy scan fax machine I could depend on but it could never scan to my iMac even though it would print from it

Save Me a Trip to the Dump, PLEASE
Where is support for getting started????? I've hunted various routes but always end up at a dead end but at best end up on hold with an estimated wait time of 2+ hours.
