Does what it's suppose to do
So far so good much better than the more expensive Sony I had to return because of constant freezing

Piece of junk
This thing is a piece of junk! Every time I pause a movie for more than 5 minutes, this piece of junk turns off because it has an "off timer." There is no option to turn it off. Every time it DOES turn off when I pause, it'll forget that the movie was playing and lose my spot. Then I have to find the place again. Every time I pause to make food, pee or do anything ...

No Volume Control on Remote
No volume control on the remote! I guess my bad since I didn't scrutinize pictures of the remote, but I've come to expect that to be a standard feature - you know, like tires on a car.

Bad product
Bought it like 3 months ago and now it won't play not happy with it

If the player does not play the discs anymore, please reset the unit by pressing the Open/Close button on the main unit and the 0 button on the remote at the same time for more than 5 seconds. Once "00 RET" is displayed on the unit please press the right arrow button on the remote until "08 FIN" is displayed. Then press and hold the OK button for more than 5 seconds. Hope this helps!

unhappy purchaser
to clarify, I wasn't looking for a 4k player, just something which was better than the low end sony products which I've bought. I made the mistake of assuming that because my purchase was more expensive than the Sony players I'd purchased that I would be able to access youtube through this Panasonic player. It does have a J45 jack afterall, but it does not allow me to...

We recommend that you make sure your player is up to date and that you replace the batteries in your remote control to ensure they are not discharged. This unit does not play DVD-RAM, Super Audio CD, Photo CD, DVD-Audio, Video CD, Super Video CD, or HD DVD. When connected to a 4K compatible TV, you can play 4K video.
