Looks nice
The can looks nice, but be warned- it’s quite big for the actual interior trash space you get. There’s so much extra junk inside (flap for bags, huge insert), you barely get any room for trash.

Disappointed
I thought the can would be all stainless matte gold. It’s plastic. Not as neat as advertised doesn’t really mesh well with my bathroom at all. Looks cheap compared to my other cans from simple human. And I’ve longed for them to make gold, but it wasn’t worth the wait

It's tiny!!! I realize it
It's tiny!!! I realize it is my fault for not paying closer attention to the dimensions so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star. But this trash can's capacity is so small - even for small or personal spaces - it is impractical. And then the price- it is very much over priced!!

Awkward
The size and shape really detract from its usage. Because of the half circle shape the edges taper off so you can’t fit decent sized thing in them, so the edges are really wasted and in useable space.

Lid doesn't work
Ordered three 6L cans (one gold and two stainless steel silver). The soft-close lid didn't work on one of the cans. It had to be pushed shut. That feature is pretty much the only reason to pay so much for a trash can. I don't want to worry about pets getting in and making a mess. I was very disappointed.

tiny waste container
It's definitely a good product, but I didn't realize that by the very shape of it, how small the container would be. If you are emptying it out every day or not using it often, then it suffices. Still think that Simple Human makes good products!

Solid!
These are the best garbage cans. My previous one lasted 12 years. They don’t scoot when you step on the pedal and they are perfectly silent! Worth every penny!

The step pushes down easily and the top opens smoothly. It also closes slowly and smoothly. The white version look great in our bathroom.

Smaller inside than expected
Simple Human trash cans are wonderful but this little 6L can is a lot smaller on the inside than expected. Great if you just need something for tissue disposal but not much else.

Love the Gold Color .
I was so happy to see them offer trash cans in gold. I have brushed gold hardware in my guest bathroom and this fits in perfectly with my decor. A big selling point for me for their trash cans , is having the bags attached inside for easy replacement of their bags. The step works flawlessly which is what I expect from this company. Very happy with this product

Too small for bathroom
If you use paper towels in bathroom, this step can is too small. I have the large kitchen can which is awesome. I needed something in the middle.

Sleek and Esthetic can for Master Bathroom
I am very pleased with this semi round trashcan for my bathroom. It was hard to choose between the brushed stainless and the black stainless.
