My preference for fountain pens and passion for purple drew me to the Pilot Pen a while back. A short time later, I was in need of ink and purchased the refills. I have a few high-priced fountain pens in my collection but the Pilot has become my go-to choice at a far more economical price. I plan to add a second pen to my Wish List for my soon-to-come birthday.

Pilot Namiki fountain cartridges
A great pen that has a retractable feature that is handy. The quality of ink is excellent, the color is true and it makes the resultant message look better than I can achieve with some of my other fountain pens. A clear winner.

Item perfect, shipping package ridiculous
The ink is exactly what I needed. Wish it was available in blue ink.
The item itself is approximately 2x2x1/2"; packaged in a box that was 10x12x5". Really? That's why shipping costs are ridiculous.
