I don't like the new plastic clasp, it is hard to open.
The print on the tabs is very small, have to take off my glasses to read it.

Pendaflex Portafile
The clasp is of poor quality and with the constant opening and closing of the case has a propensity to break. My previous file, same manufacture, had a twist tab lock which was more durable than this current model. I've had this new one only several weeks and problems with the latch are starting to appear.

It’s too stiff
It’s difficult to file anything in this folder as it’s very stiff, hard to control, and shoots out what filing I have done. You have to keep a tight grip as it has a tendency to flip around to get back to it’s original shape, i.e. with nothing filed inside of it. I just kept on wrestling with it till I got enough papers filed inside and it submitted.

Very useful
Very helpful for keeping my recipes organized and available. Handle and case seem sturdy. I'm not sure about the snap closure -- prefer the usual twist latch. I just wish they would make the pockets 1/2 inch deeper so the labels wouldn't be covered by regular letter-sized paper!

It’s perfect in every way EXCEPT the closure does not hold. That creates a minor problem for me because it sits on a file cabinet in my office. I do not have cause to move it. It would definitely have been a problem if I needed or wanted to use it differently.

Perfect for storing important documents
I already had a handled expanding organizer but needed more for my valuable documents. Other expandable files wouldn't stand up on their own as this one does with the handle.
