I returned this, due to the fact the "shade" is "thick white paper", and NOT A "SHADE", making it difficult for the light to shine through. Cheaply made but works

Instructions for assembly are bad but it’s pretty self explanatory. Some parts don’t go together as they should but the rest of the pieces hold the wonky ones together. Overall it works and for no more expensive than it is it’s a good buy. But it’s not quality by any means.

Horrible design

It looks cute in the photo but the design quality is atrocious. We can't even put it together that's how flimsily it was constructed.

Simple light fixture

Nice overall but very simple cheaper lamp. I would not put anything heavy on it perhaps just some post it notes and a candle. It looks nice but the shade has a small dent in it that is visible when the light it on it.

Easy to assemble and looks great

Simple assembly. I was surprised how it all fit into a small box but it fits in our space great and looks really good. Great deal for the price.

Needs to be replaced

Set-up wasn't a problem (although one of the pieces didn't work right). Having the shelves is nice. The problem here -- and the reason for the low score -- is that the light level is so low as to be unusable. In a place where we need lots of light this just does not cut it

Love it!

Generally love this light/shelf combo the only part I do not love is the shade. Would love it if it has had more structure instead of loose bends and plastic prongs to keep it in place. The plastic prongs did not fit well. I had to trim them to make it fit.

Relatively easy to assemble and looks great now that it's set up. We found that one of the bars was slightly crooked so it wouldn't go in exactly straight during set up but you can hardly tell now that it's put together.

Great light for the price.

The lamp was easy to put together. It’s lighter than I thought but still a great lamp. It fits in with the rooms decor.

Very flimsy

Very flimsy. It looks much better in the photos. If you have any woodworking skills, make this on your own. If not, go for something cheaper that will likely be a better product.

Poor quality lamp shade

The lamp shade is made poorly. The reams around the edge have uneven spaces at the corners that show when the light is on. Also every single little dentation on the shade from shipping and assembly shows through the shade with light on. I am looking online for a shade replacement and no luck so far.

Fantastic

It arrived to my house much earlier than I expected, thankfully. I was able to assemble the whole lamp properly thanks to the easy to understand instructions, and quickly too. It's the perfect hight for my office space and illuminates the whole area very well.

Almost great

I purchased this lamp to complement two others I had purchased from Lamps Plus and loved. While it's attractive, it's a bit flimsy in its construction. I was only surprised because other lamps have been very well made.
