This was a gift for a family member and he was very delighted with this. I believe he has started to use this in some of the writing projects he is working on. It looks well made, sturdy and professional. Would recommend to anyone who needs a portable writing surface that looks absolutely perfect for the job.

Size is not listed correctly
This portfolio case is lovely - the leather is nice and the contrast stitiching is very attractive. But I bought this because of its listed size. It's not 8.5"x 11". It's actually 9.5"x 12.5". I had been trying to replace an older portfolio with a smaller one; now I have to make a return.
