Tricky packaging (Blue / Black Ink Color)
I purchased these thinking they had blue ink. My fault for not studying the packaging enough and for assuming that an American flag pen would have blue ink.

Smooth writing.
This pen has been the easiest and smoothest writing pen that we have found. It's diameter and finger grip is large enough to help keep my hand, fingers, and wrist from hurting. Best Gel Pens Ever & Patriotic!
I hated gel pens until I tried this brand. They are amazing and such a major part of my day that I can't get thru the day without them. I also have them in stock. One in my car, one in my purse and several at the office!

Poor product
I've been buying medium tip gel pens from this maker for years. Never had a problem. For whatever reason, the patriotically decorated ones are shoddily made. The first one jammed and the plastic casing on the long part of the barrel moved down, rendering the pen inoperable (I was able to adjust it but it went out again and again. I will never buy this product again.

Stand-out pen!
I recently heard that checks should be written out with a gel pen for better security. These flag-inspired pens stand out so you reach for the correct pen! It writes very nicely as well. Pentel never fails!
