Good value - nice desk
Got this desk to replace a smaller one for working at home. It took a while to put together, and I did have one shelf backward at the end. So plan to spend a few hours for assembly and follow the instructions very closely. But it seems to be quite a sturdy nice looking desk and a good deal for the price I paid around $250 plus tax

Poor Product
I purchased this desk earlier this year and have had nothing but trouble. The top for instance, if you use scotch tape and it sticks to the desk by accident it will rip off the coating to leave a white discoloring. It scratched VERY easily and with in 2 months my desk looks horrible!

Very Nice Desk
The desk is very nice, love the more modern look. The colors are neutral and quality is very nice. The only thing that I do not like is that it does not have drawers other than a keyboard tray. Poorly Made
Do NOT get this desk. It comes in about 100 pieces. One piece did not have holes drilled into it, and one piece was missing. I could not get the desk back into the box to return and was still charged full price. I had a professional from SPAR come to assemble it, and he could not do the job. Save yourself the headache
This is just an horrible product. Half way through assembly... Holes are missing. I'm not quite sure it's going to go together. Question is, do I continue or...add it to the burn pile.

Damaged and Shoddy Customer Service
This is my second Abington 60 inch desk. My first desk was purchased 4 to 5 years ago for my daughter and I loved it. I could not move it when we relocated so I bought a second Abington desk. First issue happened when we found damage in a side piece. Called Whalen and they sent a replacement part, no problem. I went to put the cams in the top part of the desks...

Defective
After getting it home and opening it up the desk was defective. It was very heavy, and I had to get it back into the box and get it back to the store. Such a pain. Very disappointed.

Nice but difficult to put together
The desk took 3 hours to put together. It was very tedious with many pieces. The screws can very easily be stripped out if you rush. The material is on the cheaper side but that was expected for the price point. Overall, it serves its purpose and looks nice but such a pain to put together.

Wish I had not bought it. Many parts were not labeled making the assembly very hard . . . too much guessing as to which part to work on/with.

I strongly recommend this product. The assembly is a puzzle worker’s dream. Excellent, detailed instructions and complicated, but, precise construction. Good quality for a do it your job. Enjoy assembling and the functional desk when complete.
