Used a different compass but keeps on moving. This spring bow compass was fixed once you set the measurement.

cheeply made
Purchace this thinking I was getting a quality product. Not the case. The fitting of the adjustment screw was poor. So getting a precise set was not posable. The legs are part plastic and flex easily further contributing to inaccuracy. This would work for a childs school requiremnt.

The compass makes circles around the rest!

Awesome compass tool
Very nice drafting tool. It is very precise and feels good in the hand. I would recommend this tool as the quality is superior and will probably outlive me. This is the last one you will ever need to purchase.

Staedtler geomaster compass
I purchased several compass's for my sons geometry class and none of them were right. This is the only one that fit the bill exactly. It's not in the back to school supplies. It's an item they carry year round for drafting.

Unfortunately, this is not the one my instructor wanted. You can not attached your own pens to this style. I will need to return it. He had an Utrecht compass in mind and I was able to locate that one.
