Great
These work great in the cold nasty Michigan winter last year. I left them up all summer and they have not lost there grip. Love them. We have new siding and windows so these were just what we needed.

Disappointed
The clips are great unfortunately the strips do not stick at all. I cleaned the vinyl around my windows as directed. Spent a long time hanging lights inside my windows even had them spaced only six inches apart. Woke up this morning with my lights on the floor. With the price of these clips I would expect them to work. 8

Great so far
I used the hooks to put up lights in doors for Christmas and they held up well. Will not hold on popcorn wall but will on a flat surface. I’m not quite sure if they would hold outside because one did fall for me on a flat surface and the lights are quite small. It works well for what I wanted them for.

Clips not staying on surfaces
I purchased new clips to put lights around inside of my windows which I have done for years. This year they are falling off every window. I have wasted $50.00 on these clips

Last forever.
These are awesome if you are hanging like those cool icicles on your front porch. I have had the same hooks up for around 3 years and they are still holding heavy items during the years. I would highly recommend this product.

These work perfectly for cups!!
So.... I use these for my children's cups. They fit PERFECTLY for cups. I just put a sticker on the flat side so everyone knows which cup is theirs. I got tired of seeing 12+ cups out because nobody ever remembered which cup they were using. These work exactly how I want them to. If one breaks, it's easy peasy to make a new one for a kid.

Very pleased
I was looking for clips to hang lights from metal on the edge of our roof. I noticed a lot of very poor reviews for these clips but couldn’t find any other affords options. Doesn't work
Has this product been changed? A couple of years ago I used them to hang a string of Edison bulbs on my pool cage without a problem. Our cage was destroyed in the hurricane and I tried to hang them on the new one. I've now gone through 5 packages and they just don't stick. I checked with the builder to see if the cage is treated with a coating and he said no.

Just bought your light clips from lowes, cleaned the surface air dried it. And they don't hold. Your skimpy on the glue strips and they're not very tacky.
Bought them in the past, and they always held well, in fact they were hard to get back off.
What you do try and save money and put out a cheaper product?
Will have to find another way to hang the lights.

I love the command products they are easy, inconspicuous and convenient. My only advice to someone who has never used this is make sure the surface is clean and let it adhere before you use force on it.

Be cautious of where you place them
I bought these clips so that my daughter could hang rope lights on her bedroom wall. The clips worked great for the original intended purpose. Fast forward a month to the holiday season and I again purchased the clips to hang Christmas lights on the inside of my windows in the living room. We cleaned the windows as required and none of the strips lasted longer than 30 s...

Will not stick
bought at Home Depot, 17017CLR-AWES, these have no stickiness. unusable. I like the clips but cannot use because the adhesive strips have not even a little stickiness

Do not work. At all.
Bought today to try and hang lights out 2nd floor windows. Didn't even get to try the lights. Cleaned as suggested and tried vinyl siding and window casing. Both lost their stickiness instantly. Normally love command products this was a big disappointment.

USE THIS CLIP ALL THE TIME! WILL BUY MORE!!!
We use these clips all the time. Because they are made for outside they work great but can be a little difficult when removing. I love the fact they truly hold your lights versus just running the lights through a hook.

Not worth it
Does NOT hold in outside conditions, they don’t hold like it says on the package even after following the instructions.
