Nice Big Dust Pan, But Fragile Aluminum
This is a good dust pan, built to do the job, right up to the limits of the aluminum it's made from. It will chip and dent more easily than steel, and the handle will not hold as much weight as a steel tube handle would. Given that limitation, this is a good dust pan. It's big, and built to last (within limits).

Thin Aluminum
I was surprised how thin the aluminum is. It could be considerable thicker without making it overly heavy. I don't expect it to last anywhere near as long at the steel (Behrens?) one it replaces, that was left behind.
