I removed the air as shown on instructions. It immediately inflated so I returned it. It was faulty

It Works as Intended!
I purchased this waterproof phone pouch as a safety precaution for my new iPhone for a recent trip to the Virgin Islands. Bottomline, my phone stayed dry while paddle boarding!
