Double sided tape splits
I use this double sided tape to mount photos and have multiple dispensers since I use it a lot. However, recently, while using this tape, the very beginning of the roll, the tape splits and I end up unable to restart the roll. I tried several different times trying to free up an end to start using these rolls again. Very disappointing.

I Do Not Recommend. Dispenser Is Useless
I purchased the 3/4 in. transparent Scotch Tape on disposable dispensers in a 4 pack. Only good quality: it sticks. I have wasted SO much tape because the cut edge does NOT cut the tape. Instead my hand slips, I pull out 3 times as much as I need, it gets stuck to itself, and I have to throw the whole length away and start over. I have to use scissors to cut it. Pretty...

Double sided tape wont peel protective layer
Can't separate the non-stick layer. I've waste 1/2 a roll trying to peel off the protective layer

Non-starter
I bought this tape yesterday to mount some photographs. After half an hour, I had to give up. It was impossible to remove the protective lining.

We've taken your feedback into consideration and have passed it on to our marketing team. We do have the following instructions to help you with the roll. To initially start the roll of our Scotch® Double Sided Tape, there is a protective wrap that is about 8 inches long. Just pull the tape out about 8 inches and use the cut blade on the dispenser to cut the tape. Throw that 8 inches of tape in the garbage. Now you can begin using the double sided tape. As the protective wrap is clear, you will probably not be able to see where the double sided tape begins and where the wrap ends, so you will just have to touch the top of the tape to make sure you have both sides of the adhesive exposed. This protective wrap is not included in the listed dimensions of the tape, the tape length starts from the point where the protective wrap ends. If this still doesn't work, please reach out to our team at 1-800-328-6276 and provide case 35503599. Our team is available Monday through Friday 8:00 - 4:30 CT. We hope this helps!

double sided tape, no backing
tape will not roll because it's sticking to the backing. I can pull some tape out but cannot place it properly on the item because the tape is sticking to the dispenser. Impossible to use the cutter, have to use scissors. I would have bought a tape runner but the store was sold out, I wonder why? Very disappointed in this product.

Quality product, great hold
While giving a speech at a friends birthday, the heel to my shoe broke off. This tape not only worked to put the heel back together, but lasted all night including dancing on the wall. This is a must buy 10/10

Worst tape ever
Usually 3M are the best but this tape cutter is the worst. You can’t cut the tape with those plastic small cutter. Not sure if it’s a default in the line of production or a misconception. Stay away.
