Works well if you install it correctly.
The privacy filter has both a glare and non-glare slide, so if you want a "non-glare" you have to look before you install it that the non-glare side is facing out (towards you).
You should clean the screen that is going to be mounted to, don't want to tap any dust in between the two layers and also the adhesive strips will hold better. I have found that the double side...

Cuts glare, Helps eye strain
Perfect fit for my monitor/true to size, Multiple adhesive options for installation. Ordered more for the glare filter than for privacy and it's made a huge difference; combined with blue light glasses, a big improvement in the eye strain and flashers I was experiencing.

Black Privacy Screen
Once the Privacy screen was in place on the computer; I could clearly read the documents on the screen from a side angle and a distance behind. Not sure how much an overhead light affects the privacy screen darkness. If unable to resolve this issue, I will be requesting a refund and or replacement of a more secure privacy screen.

Works well, ordering again for additional monitors.
For those reviews saying you 'can still see the monitor from 10' away'... duh. This cannot defy the laws of physics and prevent light from traveling a specific distance, that's like telling a flashlight to only shine like 5' but not further. This screen works well to protect medical information in an area of our clinic where patients pass by the computer. It can be somewhat of an eyestrain for the user.

3M™ Privacy Filter
Don't believe it works as well as it should. Maybe it's the angle of the dual screens, it doesn't provide the privacy we thought it would. I would recommend you save the money and buy an off brand/generic brand since this product is not worth the price.

Works ok!
The privacy filters only work from an angle. If walking up on a computer or standing even far behind the computer you can still see everything on it.

Privacy screens
I measured the screens and ordered the product that matched the size but when they were installed there is a 3/8" gap all around the screen when mounted. This creates a shadow effect and makes it difficult to read all of the icons.

These filters work as they were intended. Makes it hard to work if you're not sitting right in front of your screen, though.
