Not for cables
I tried using this "flexible" tape for labeling cables and two days later it's lifting off just like the regular tape. It probably works if you use it as a "flag", but it doesn't work if you try to attach it along the length of the cable.

Cartridge Replacement
Don’t understand what happened, placed replacement cartridge, did my usual typing and when I printed the tape came out split and unusable.

It's just... regular tape.
I bought a pack of the flexible and a pack of the regular. There was no difference between the two. I did several tests including bending and stretching and they both performed exactly the same. Also, there was no difference when labeling wires (the reason why I bought it. I did get better at lining up the ends, though. I'll save a few bucks and buy the regular tape for...

These tapes did not work in my label maker, was really disappointed. Did not see the "FX" preceeding the 231 on the number of the tapes, which obviously makes a difference. I had to order 2 new tapes that did not have the preceeding FX, and they work fine. Now I have 2 tapes that we can't use. Would love to return them for the correct ones.

Brother TZ series Labeler Tape TZEFX231
This is a very easy to use product. Pop in the disk and go to work. The tape has two strips in the back for easy use for taping. I can just gently fold it and the split tape covering peals easily off and is great for placing and then pressing down to tape. It is the best I have used.
