Sturdy enough bowls sometimes have to double up depending on what kind of food is in bowl. More bowls in pack than expected I hadn't read the details when ordering that's fine though.

They are round fairly deep and they contain an adequate amount of stuff without poking or soaking through. What more could you ask? They're bowls.
