Staples HL8000 Commercial Lateral File Cabinet
I purchased 2 file cabinets, a 42" wide and a 36" wide and we love them. Pull out shelf for when you are standing reviewing a file, shelf on top for binders and books, it's exactly what we needed.

Very misleading photo
The photo clearly shows a pull out shelf. It was a very important feature in our selection process. It was not apart of the file cabinet that we were shipped. Very misleading. bait and switch!

Do not recommend
Very cheaply built. Dents easy and the drawers to not slide easily.
Had to replace the first delivered unit due to severe damage. Got the replacement the next day. They did not take the original back, said it would be picked up in a couple d days. Been over a week and Staples still have not picked up the original damaged one.

Not a good product
Is very flimsy. Had dents and the drawers wouldn't open. A part was bent in the locking mechanism and we had to work for an hour or more to get it opened to be able to fix it.

The drawers seem a little
The drawers seem a little wobbly for the cost of the product. They should feel more solid and slide smoother.
