Stopped working within 3 months.
The pencil sharpener stopped working within 3 months. Although I bought a 3 year insurance plan on it, when trying to exchange it at the Staples, the clerk told me I need to go through the steps on the insurance receipt and I need to return it through the mail, then I will be reimbursed with a Staples gift card. I had to spend more money to then purchase another on...

Will not buy again
2nd purchase attempt. Both times the pencil sharpens on a slant with the wood instead of the lead. This time it jammed after sharpening and started making a terrible noise. Trying a different brand

Doesn't work properly
Had to return, only sharpens one side of the pencil so you would have to rotate a new pencil three times to get each side clear of the wood. Disappointing.

Power Extreme electric pencil sharpener
I had bought this sharpener for my son years back. So now I needed one. It was a no brainer to buy the same one for myself since it worked so well. It just works great! Powerful, fast and sharpens great! I definitely would recommend this product for home, business or classroom..

The second one works just fine. We had to get a replacement b/c the first one received did not work at all. Plugged it in, inserted a pencil...nothing.
It did not start up. The pencil hole is a bit small, but once the pencil is in, it sharpens great. The shavings bin is a nice size. The only caveat is that it was described by Staples as being "battery" powered howe...

Does not eat pencil!
I had an old pencil sharpener that the lead broke every time I tried to sharpen. So far this sharpener has not done this.

Brand New, Didn't Work
Our office needed a new pencil sharpener, so I bought this one. It looks nice, roomy area for shavings, but when we plugged it in, we discovered it wouldn't work. Returned it for a different one.

Best Sharpener Ever!!!
I have loved this pencil sharpener for years. I went to evey staples within 1 hr around me and could not find it. I ordered 2 because I never want to be without it. This is my 17th year teaching and this is the best sharpener for the classroom.
