hard to clean
It is very difficult to remove the tray where the pencil sharing shavings go. I'm returning it.

New Exacto better than old Exacto
I had an electric Exacto sharpener for 20 years. It was great but it gradually lost its precision. So did I. The new Exacto I just purchased is wonderful! I wish the company could make a new model of me!

Great for quick sharpening!
We have been using this pencil sharpener at our home since our kids are now distance learning. It works great and quickly sharpens my children's pencils, and colored pencils. It even works well for the 'design pencils' that our manual pencil sharpener can't sharpen. We tend to sharpen about 10-15 pencils every night and it goes really fast. This little guy works well!
I really like this sharpener. It isn't too big and doesn't take up too much space on my work desk it's not loud and it doesn't chew up my pencils it sharpens nicely.

Works well
It sharpens the pencils. I went around the house gathering up all the half broken dull pencils that I was unable to sharpen with a hand sharpener and got them all fixed. Also did some colored pencils.

Works as expected: very satisfied
I purchased this to replace a higher end and higher price sharpener from X-ACTO that had died. This performs just as well as that one did when it worked and is half the price of a new version of my former X-ACTO sharpener. Noisy and rough
Have to put the pencils in just the right spot of it doesn't work. Very loud and rough on the pencils! Would not buy again!

Sharpens Well but Messy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a classroom teacher and this sharpener has been doing a good job of sharpening pencils for a long time. Unfortunately, the way you have to empty the shavings makes it very messy. I have tried every way imaginable to empty it without getting shavings everywhere but I am convinced that it can't be done.

The best sharpener I've used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sharpener for my kids to use during our homeschool days and I'm actually shocked at how efficient it is! It sharpens pencils almost instantly without a crazy loud noise. The kids love to use it so their pencils are almost always sharpened, which is super helpful for me;)
