the most cost-effective pads for note taking
I looked at the 8.5 by 11 lined pads and stocked up on this one for taking notes and writing first drafts. The pads are fine and the least expensive in their category. I recommend them.

wish I would have read the reviews product change
Also voicing my displeasure at the change. I just ordered what I thought I ordered in the past and did not pay attention to the reviews. Yesterday the notepad was delivered. First the product is not as pictured. It is no longer Staples branded now TRURED. The double backing is nonexistent the lines look like the are photocopied. This will be returned.

Yellow canary legal pads.
This is the one we like because it's thicker with more sheets of paper.

Poor quality
These new versions of our trusted Staples pads are perforated poorly so the pages rip unevenly when you go to tear one off. I am returning the pads that I ordered.

Overpriced Notepad
I ordered this mistakenly thinking that there would be more than one in a pack. It's definitely not worth $6+ - find a less expensive alternative if you can.

Product qualty has changed for the worse
Have purchased and used these notepads for over 10 years. They USED to be a great product. No more. Staples has substituted thin notepaper that allows the ink to show through on the flip side. Not worth buying at this point. It would have been better to raise the price and leave the quality intact. Staples might now reconsider.

Disappointing
I have been ordering this same product 5 pads at time every 18 months or so for over 12 years. This last order came and the paper is different color different layout and the top perforations are virtually non-existent causing a jagged edge when I tear out a sheet. What happened to the former product??? I would return it if I knew I could get back to the good stu...

I love this notepad!
Narrow lines holes for storage in binders. More pages for longer use. My favorite notepad.

Lowered the quality of these pads this year
These pads have been my very favorite for a number of years so I didn't think twice restocking with the same. However my latest order has a noticeable change in quality. Still same narrow rule still sturdy back but the color and feel of the paper is inferior. The paper has a pink-gray cast to it and individual sheets feel slightly more flimsy. I have used your pads for many years now and was quite surprised when I received my last order and noted that even though they were still labeled "narrow ruled" this was no longer the case. still using the pads but would have appreciated a change in product description during the ordering process.

Great
My husband uses these pads for work. When his workplace started ordering another brand he was not happy. We bought these for him to use at work. He likes them so much that he paid for them himself.

Overall best paper pad!
Love the quality of this pad. Paper is a nice weight. We use it for all our writing needs.
