Fine line excellent for making notes
When I have to write a small but clear note in a limited space it has no equal. Produces a dark sharp clear line which never skips smears or fades. My go-to black pen!

Writes like a dream but ugly
I have been using Pilot Precise V5 rollerballs for a long time and thought to try their gel pen analog the P-500 to write on more kinds of paper. Pilot Precise P-500 Pens
I have used these pens since a former employer turned me on to them in 1992. Since I am a "lefty" I love these pens as the side of my hand does not get ink on it when I write as it does when I use a ball point pen. So that means I've used them for 30 years. I am definitely a happy customer.

Best pen to write fast and legibly
We've all been there: You scribble something of vital importance but later after phone call etc. you can't read your own handwriting. I've been a pen connoisseur for 50-plus years. For legible writing (even with my horrible scrawl when rushed) this pen is the best. The only disadvantage is that it is too fragile to press down hard on carbon-copy forms so for that...
