A different use.
The tape is used on high speed radio control wings. The tape helps keep the wing together during high speed ground impacts (read: crash!). It is so adhesive that it is imperative to make sure its placement is final before pressing down.

PRODUCT/NUMBERING CHANGED-ITEM UNAVAILABLE
This Strapping tape was great, but when I re-ordered for in store pickup, SPLS gave me a diff scotch product, that was not the re-inforced with horiz/vertical fiber grid. Idiot cashier couldnt grasp that maybe the Online site is messed up. The picture of the product you see, if you order, is not what you will get. I think Scotch has discontinued the Extreme tape. not about the tape
The tape is perfectly fine and useful. What I would like to praise is the young woman at the cash register who left her post to find it for me. She went out of her way to help me and I didn’t get her name, but I do definitely appreciate her.

Tough tape!
Despendsor needs MUCH improvement! Very hard to keep tape sticking to itself and the serrator to cut the tape is very hard to do on the heavy duty tape.

Typical 3-M
This tape has been around for years, was the best then, is among, if not, the best today. It seems that with this product and may others, 3-M does to NOT re-invent the wheel. They may improve the wheel with some new models but doesn't seem to discard the time proven products like this strapping tape.
