The product was great. The fact that it took over two weeks to receive was the issue I had. The original order was lost in space and had to be re-ordered.

heavy weight paper
These legal pads are very high quality. We most appreciate how heavy the paper is. The edges don't roll up, and the pages do not get stuck in the document feeder on the copy machine, as would happen with less expensive pads.

My go to writing pad
These are the perfect writing pads -- the paper is heavy enough that there is no "bleed through' when writing on both sides. Additionally, the paper texture is smooth which makes writing easy and a p;leasure.

They cheapened the paper
The sole purpose of purchasing this brand of pad is for the "heavy duty" factor. Apparently they cheapened the stock and it's no longer 20lb. Ink now bleed through. Pages tear. This was a 5 star product until my most recent purchase a few weeks ago. I'm not going to be ordering these any longer. I hope Staples shares this with the manufacturer as this is pure false adve...

Better quality
These notepads are preferred in our office because backing is stiff enough to use the pad on your lap. The paper also tears off evenly. Not the cheapest notepad out there, but the quality is worth the price.
