This is an automatic switch that sits inside a regular house interior wiring box (not in an exterior box) to control the on - off cycles of lights according to solar calendar--just like the manual switch it replaces. Automatic Switch Timer
Awesome switch! Will buy more for my other homes because has an auto away feature that randomly turns on and off lights throughout the night showing that there is someone there. Totally random.
