How do you get tape wrong?
The tape wouldn't even peel properly, just made a sandy mess.

Can't beat it
I find the Staples brand tape heavier, stronger, and less expensive than the name brands..and it sticks just as well if not better. I highly recommend,

Just shy of any quality
Like most store brand items this is not a quality item. Slightly thinner than brand name tape so it continually rips while peeling it from the roll. Also not good for anything g you are taping with tension on it. It will burst open.

Finally, Thick Enough
This masking tape is surprisingly usable from the roll - in other words, you can unroll it without it breaking every 2 inches or so like most el cheapo tape. That is a great feature, considering it is a basic house brand product. Like the old days, you can actually use it for its intended purpose. And you can write on it without it "bleeding" through. Nothing exciting
This is just plain old masking tape - picked it up because it was on clearance - the package was old and a little too sticky - is tape supposed to have an expiration date??
