Does what it says it will do
We purchased this to keep government required documents safe from fire. I hope we never have to test its fireproofing capabilities but it seems to be solid and do what we need it to do. Seems study and strong.

Only buy if you like white dust......
Our company needed a fire proof cabinet to place employee files in. We purchased this one and now I hate to go into it. I looks like the cement inside is shedding which makes a dust like film all over the folders. When you open the files you have to shake them out and the dust itches my skin. Nice size
I found that this is a great size. It seems real insulated. The room in drawers are limited but understand that is because of the fire proofing. I will not know if it works until you have a fire or flood.

Nice fire safe
I am really happy with the fire safe file cabinet. It is easy to open and fits more then I thought it would. I am very pleased with my purchase. It was shipped fast also. I received my cabinet within a week. I would recommend this fire safe to anyone who is looking for a small fire safe filing cabinet.

I recently purchased the FireKing 1hour 2 drawer fire resistant file cabinet. I was very pleased with the quality of the product. The size also met my need for filing multiple sized items and formats that will be placed in this secure file cabinet. Price was compatible with other similar products.

Heavy duty file cabinet
We purchased this file cabinet to protect our personal documents from fire and theft. Hopefully we will never find out how well it works. It is very sturdy and the drawers slide easily and fully extend. It is very heavy--it took two people to move it. It is more functional than good looking.

Meets all of my needs.
My Husband & I had been looking for a unit that would basically do everything we needed it to do without paying a fortune for it. We checked out all the online stores & couldn't find what we wanted. Nice but hard to open
Use to keep files software important papers etc. Also will hold a cash drawer if you needed to store your cash in it.

A little disappointed
I'm a little disappointed on the locking device. It does not lock easily and sometimes if the lock does not catch good you can open the drawers.
