When is a Hook Not a Hook?
A relative recently moved into rental housing which did not have any door/drawer knobs/handles on the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. Not only was it hard to remember which side of the doors opened, they were also hard to grab. Clock fell off the wall
I bought this product less than a month ago along with a new clock for mu kitchen. I followed the installation directions to the letter, including using alcohol to clean the wall, holding the hooks for 30 seconds, and waiting at least an hour to hang the clock. adhesive strips have been dried up and useless
Opened 5 or 6 of these individually packed hooks so far. Each one has had a defective adhesive strip where it is no longer sticky. I don't know if it is age or been sitting in adverse conditions before sale. The glue looks yellow and dried when the paper is pulled off.

Command Hooks not so good
We used these to hang banners with grommets during a conference. The banners were lightweight, coated banners. Some of the hooks held okay, but half fell off only after a few hours...even on the same surface. It wouldn't be my first choice, but they might work in a pinch.
