Not the same as Ampad. Returning this product
I used to buy the Ampad version of these pads. Last time I bought a pack was in the spring so I looked up the stock number from my recent order and tried to locate the same Ampad package of pads. Decent color but wished it matched Pantone's PMS YELLOW 0131 C or Canary Yellow to follow the Bruce Almighty aesthetic of my home office kingdom den. Otherwise the right amount of perforations for a satisfying tear. All your base are belong to us.

NOTEPAD COULD BE BETTER
I would have given it a 5 stars if each note pad had a protective cover sheet. Nonetheless it does the work.

Not the same as in the store
This Staples brand "Double Pad" is not the same as the Staples brand Double Pad you find in the store. This paper is cheap thin and off-color (not bright white.)

Incorrectly lined
i cant figure out for whom this notebook is designed. The "heading" or white space is at the bottom on the back side of the page. This would work if keeping the pages in the pad and simply flipping the pages over. However these are 3-hole punched. I intended to tear the pages out and store in a binder. Completely unworkable for what I had planned.

best pads around
I have been buying these pads for over 10 years I love them. The three hole punch allows me to take notes and then put them in the corresponding binders. The double thick backing is great because it allows me to take notes as I walk with the client. The pads are sturdy!

Love it
I have ordered other yellow legal note pads before but these are the best so far. The solid cardboard backing is great when I am walking around writing notes. The other ones I ordered were very flimsy.
