Sturdy but easily seen through
Exactly as above. You can easily see the subject you want to trace. Sturdy enough not to easily tear.

Low Grade
Not as translucent as we had hoped to use as an overlay for working on a tabloid-sized map. Did not even use for the project.

Bad paper
The cover on this paper clearly stated that the blue lines will not copy. WRONG!! Maybe it has something to do with the copy machine used, but I will never get this paper again.

Great Hand Rendering Paper
I used this trace for my line drawing of a building I am working on. No smudges with a 2H pencil. The 11”x 17” size works for most of my drawings. The weight is good.

Not just a tracing paper
I find Staedtler Vellum paper more versatile in creating projects of all kinds. This product is more than just tracing paper. It's rag quality is stronger than tracing paper and can be used creating collage, frottage, pastel, charcoal pencil

Thanks, even "art" stores no longer carry good quality tracing paper, but architects and engineers still use this stuff for surveys, concept sketches, inc. The quality is great.

Vellum worked well for leaf print project
I created an invitation project for a fifth grade class which incorporated a leaf print on vellum. Staedlter’s Tracing Paper was the perfect weight to use with acrylic paint and the wrinkles from moisture were minimal. The semi-transparent nature of the paper made the final product look like a faux handmade paper.
