I believe this product has recently changed. It used to be a reliable invisible tape option, but the product is not like it used to be. The tape does not tear as easily, making it difficult to use with a dispenser. It also has an erasing effect on thermal paper. Worst tape ever!!
This tape is terrible its white like really white. does not want to tear in the dispenser and barley sticks to anything!

Bad tape & not invisible
Bad tape & not invisible. Disappointed. Looks bad on wrapping paper. Doesn’t hold well. Need to use twice as much.

Issues ripping off in tape dispenser
We have used Staples brand tape for years, but this batch has given multiple users issues when trying to cut it off in the tape dispenser - it just won't cut off. Much tape is being wasted trying to get a piece to rip. Looks like we might have to start buying name brand.

Not sticky, doesn't tear cleanly
This tape is useless. Does not adhere to surfaces, rips instead of tearing when used in a dispenser.

DO NOT BUY
Do not buy this tape. It does not stick, it is hard to tear and it is NOT transparent. Matte tape is NOT transparent, there is a big difference. Please bring back clear tape that sticks and tears!!!! I do not see any other options available that are not quadruple the price. Very disappointed!

Awful product
This tape is absolutely awful! I don't know what changed but the last few batches of this particular type (white box with red lettering) is truly terrible. It snaps off, does not tear from the dispenser without actually stretching, and doesn't stick at all! It reminds me of dry nail polish. Definitely do not recommend and will have to purchase the more expensive name br...

Worst tape Don't buy
This tape is terrible. I returned ALL 6 packs of 12 rolls each. It tears instead of tearing at the dispenser's teeth. It IS NOT invisible. Thus is a translucent tape.

This tape is awful
This tape does not tear easily off the roll and it gums up the cutter on the dispenser. Pieces also break off short when you pull too hard from the dispenser. Avoid!

Do not recommend
The tape does stick but other than that would not recommend. Tape does not pull smoothly on dispenser. Tape is very hard to tear. It is a hassle and wish we had not purchased 10 rolls as 1 is too many.
