Staedtler sharpener
it doesn't do a very good job sharpening pencils. no matter what you do - you can't get a point on the pencil. I used a pocket knife instead

Yes, it sharpens pencils and is an ok price. Next time I would spend a little more and get a better quality one.

Great Product
Sharpens pencils to a fine point. It’s easy to use — simply empty when full. Small enough to store in a desk drawer or take it with you in a backpack or briefcase.

4/5 stars pencil sharpener
gets the job done adequately. Sometimes a point will break off and lodge at the sharpest point and prevent pushing pencils further in. This is a common feature of this style. Old school spinning handle rotating blade sharpeners are not prone to this defect. Still, this is a pretty sharp product.
