Best investment I made
I purchased mine in 2007 still going strong shows the quality of made in the US thank you Stanley for making a wonderful product I highly recommend this

over rated product
Bought 3 of these tape measures at my local Home Depot. Not one lasted for more than 6 months before the tape broke.

PowerLock does not work
Lock does not lock. Tape goes back as soon as you attempt to measure with it making it

Measuring Pro?
Stanley Powerlock case shows it can be used for accurate ID measurements by butting the case to the wall and adding 3" to the taped result. But the case is rounded. And there are "no manuals' for tape measures. This is an obvious area where manufacturer clarification is necessary for proper use of the device.

Being in construction having accurate measurements are a must. This tape measure meets the demand easy to use it is the tape measure that I go to every time

WAS LIKE SHOES …COULDN’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT.
Was a homeowner/catastrophe adjuster for over 32 years and this tape was so reliable and exact it made a complex job so much easier and precise.

After all these years....
Bought this tape measure back in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Liked it so much I bought another. Recently I noticed the coating was peeling off the tape so I called Stanley to see if refills were available, they instead replaced it with a brand new 33-245. Talk about a company that stands by their product. Will continue buying Stanley as long as they keep making great...

Bought this tape 30 years ago. Has been used, but not abused, except for being dropped from the rafters a few times, left out in the weather, stepped on, having lumber dropped on it and having the end constantly getting caught, on one thing or another. This is so durable and possibly the best tap measure I've ever used. Takes drops and doesn't effect work.

I love Stanley tape measures. They are my go-to. I love that they are made of heavy duty materials, and can withstand a beating. They glide effortlessly, as they should, even after years of use. Great investment
Used multiple times a day , for 5 years . Never a problem nor complaint , it’s not child proof though, my two toddler grandkids got a hold of it and in less than minutes utterly destroyed it , what was sad , was having to buy a new one

My tape has been everywhere with me and still a good tape and mine is 49 years old.
